Frank George Basdell

Frank George Basdell was the maternal grandfather of Elizabeth and Ann Kinsey-Miles. He died in May 1917 at Savona, Italy in the First World War.

 

Frank George Basdell was born on January 7 1879, in Minchinhampton, to George William Basdell and Frances Basdell (born Tyler).

George was born in 1854, in Thorpe, Surrey.
Frances was born in 1851, in Dinedor, Herefordshire, England.

Frank had 7 siblings: Madeline Basdell, George Reginald Basdell, Georgina May Basdell, Ruth Audrey Basdell, Archie Herbert Basdell, Frances Mabel Basdell and Dora Lilian Basdell.
Frank married Florence Hawkins Basdell (born Woolley) in 1907, at age 27 in Bristol, Gloucestershire, England.
Florence was born in March 1880, in St Michael’s, Bristol, Gloucestershire.
Her occupation was SCHOLAR.
They had 4 daughters: Florence Mabel Salter (born Basdell), Kathleen Frances Kinsey-Miles (born Basdell), Cecilia Poole (born Basdell) and Bertha Smith (born Basdell).
Frank lived in 1881, at Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England.
He lived in 1891, at Colston’s School, Stapleton, Gloucestershire, England.
He lived on April 3 1911, at Overseas military, Verdala Barracks Malta.
Frank passed away on May 4 1917, at age 38.
